In light of the ongoing concerns of the transmission of COVID-19, Our Lady of Mercy Faith Formation is following the Archdiocese of Hartford Directives for Return to In-Person Faith Formation, all Federal, State and Town of Plainville guidelines.
The Archdiocesan Directives have been modified from the State of Connecticut's document
Adapt, Advance, Achieve: Connecticut's Plan to Learn and Grow Together, and will be followed closely.
Our priority is to ensure the safety of the parish staff, volunteers, families, and attendees of all ages.
All decisions made regarding hosting in-person gatherings will be made with this at the forefront.

The Archdiocesan Directives provide OLM with direction on the maintenance of the environment, such as building, air flow, spacing, etc.; training and communication for catechists on social distancing, cleaning protocols, and hygiene practices; necessary supplies; plans for communication with the parish community, and plans should a parish staff member or parish community member becomes sick.
It is, of course, our desire to gather as a community of faith. However, we will only do so under the stated protocols of safety.
Please contact Michelle should your family need special accommodations.

Covid-19: A Prayer of Solidarity For all who have contracted coronavirus,
We pray for care and healing.
For those who are particularly vulnerable,
We pray for safety and protection.
For all who experience fear or anxiety,
We pray for peace of mind and spirit.
For affected families who are facing difficult decisions between food on the table or public safety,
We pray for policies that recognize their plight.
For those who do not have adequate health insurance,
We pray that no family will face financial burdens alone.
For those who are afraid to access care due to immigration status,
We pray for recognition of the God-given dignity of all.
For our brothers and sisters around the world,
We pray for shared solidarity.
For public officials and decisionmakers,
We pray for wisdom and guidance.
Father, during this time may your Church be a sign of hope, comfort and love to all.
Grant peace.
Grant comfort.
Grant healing.
Be with us, Lord.
Amen.
